Calling all Chrome users: Your browser seems slow to late? I may have a solution for you.

First, a little back-story. I have a Core i5 processor and a Samsung Series 9 ultrabook, with Windows 8.1 to run. I've had it for about 18 months, and, over time, slow down PC that I know from years of experience.

I wipe my hard drive and reinstalling the OS from scratch whenever a drastic action, because in general, pointing the finger on Windows, I get a blissfully quick system. For a while.

But in the last few months, I have my web browser, Google Chrome, the focus has been really slow. (I can not be positive, but at the time was in October, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 requires the Microsoft Update agree with that. This is my explanation conspiracy theorist.)

Chrome will automatically open quickly, though, tab to load seemed to take forever. I just have a feeling of eternity will be staring at a blank tab - opens in a new tab and type in an address (or even clicked a bookmark) when, before anything happens often there was a delay of seconds.

Needless to say, I own Chrome extensions, as they possibly (like my beloved OneTab) can impose a performance hit, it also seemed like most of the ones trying to remove. I, temporary files and other detritus behind the scenes trying to delete my browsing history. Nothing helped.

I thought, to the point where they were going, "Okay, maybe it's time for an upgrade." I need the horsepower, this laptop is ridiculous. It is the only browser that is killing me.

Just for comparison, working in Firefox to spend a day as I went too far. And you know what? Huge difference. Essentially the problem, Windows was not - it was chrome.

OK, enough of the history, so to solve some research and experiments, Chrome is built to run fast enough to be tweaked a setting. Your mileage, of course, may vary, but it is worth a try:

Step 1: Click on the menu button (OFF button on the top right corner of the browser), then click Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down and click Search to Your System section, then scroll down further "Display Settings, Advanced".

Step 3: Clear the check box next to "Use hardware acceleration when available."

Step 4: Close and restart Chrome.

Again, I will solve your problems Chrome performance for sure can not say, but it made a big difference on your system.

It is successful or not, hit the comments and the results of Chrome users know that you do it with! You get back to the browser speed is looking the other way and share them as well.
